Day 1:  Travel to Jinja

Evening: Depart from Nairobi. 

Day 2:  Jinja Adventures

Visit the magnificent Itanda Falls. 

Head for a zip-lining adventure. 

Late Afternoon: Enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on the Nile River. 

Evening: Spend the night in Jinja.

Day 3:  Travel to Kampala

Early Morning: Depart from Jinja for Kampala. Have breakfast in Kampala, then proceed to Kigali. Arrive in Kigali and check inn at the hotel. 

Relax and settle in after the journey. 

Dinner and rest. 

Day 4: Explore Kigali.

 Explore the beautiful Kigali town. Kigali Genocide Memorial, Niyo Arts Gallery, Caplaki Craft Village, have dinner, and experience Kigali by night. 

Day 5: Explore Kigali.

 Travel to Lake Kivu, which is 2 hours away from Kigali, explore the lake and return to Kigali in the evening.

Day 6: Explore Kigali.

 Explore Kigali some more. Presidential Palace Museum, Kimironko Market. For a truly local  lunch experience at Kimironko Market, Inema Arts Center. Similar to Niyo Arts Gallery, take walks through the streets of Kigali, have dinner, and rest for the evening. 

Mount Kigali as an option: If feeling active, a hike up of Mount Kigali for panoramic views of the city. It’s a relatively easy hike.

Day 7: Return to Kampala.

 Leave Kigali for Kampala. We will make a stop in Kampala for the night.

Day 8: Friday, 30th May. Leave Kampala for Nairobi.
